Question:
Just heard an interview on the CBC (radio) about this, as we’ve been talking about taking drugs for prevention and unnecessary drug prescriptions driving up health costs I thought it was interesting. The Therapeutics Initiative looked at the data for three major studies totaling 60,000 individuals. Looking at the total serious adverse events they found there was no difference between the statin drug group and placebo.
