I am still fighting the cold bug too….but I have gotten rid of the ‘my head is gonna blow up’ feeling, now it is that ICK feeling of coughing and never being able to rid my lungs of all this crap.  Turning nasty on me…it has killed me to really laugh the last few days…I run out of breath and have to find my inhaler just for a giggle fit. Anyhow…I definitely support the decision to lie on the couch with a big quilt and read…if I could just get my butt off the computer and the kids sent off…I would be there too! I was told before that by continuing smoking I would never rid myself of the cough from bronchitis…now I don’t know about that, but I do know smoking DEFINITELY aggrivates the whole thing.  I planned to quit this year, but it hasn’t been the best year to try LOL R

I quit in the winter of 97…I miss it terrible.  but hate second hand smoke(go figure)…I had my first go at a ciggie when I was five, I stole my dad’s Pall Malls and puffed away…got caught too…(never knew the smell would go home with me) LOL  I had to quit due to the transplant list…they are not very happy with transplants to be smoking…I miss going out on the deck(esp at night) for my little get away. See, I do that too at night.  I think that would be my most missed thing.  I sit out there and look at stars and enjoy the QUIET that surrounds our house.  It is peaceful… I told my therapist that I had been trying to quit and literally was told that this ‘wasn’t my best time to try’  LOL Anyhow, I will quit, and I will lose weight, and I will be able to do things I love again!  WHY?  Because I am a stubborn bitch!
