cholest was good triglicerides bad help !!
Question:
Exercise has been proven effective to lower trigylcerides/cholesterol levels(probably due to an increased number of LDL receptors which is my guess). And eating more fiber has been shown to lower trigylcerides, etc as well – probably through slowing absorption of fats/cholesterol.through the intestinal lining. So get movin, start eating veggies/fruits, limit saturated fats, etc and what not and the rest will fall into place. Worrying and freaking out will get you nowhere. You say you’re a binge eater right, then I got a solution for ya. Prepare ahead for those emotional times and stock your fridge with mainly fruits and veggies and really fibrous foods(kashi bars, etc). So when you do get those emotional eating frenzies, at least you’ll stuff yourself with something healthy and you can eat so much fruit/veggies so the damage won’t be high. Ya see, you can always make good of a bad situation. Learn to face your demons head on. That’s the only way you’ll learn to see their weaknesses. Be strong. Alan.

Called the hidden danger in heart disease etc, anyone went through this he said keep up the ww and come back in 4 months. I binge every now and then that has messed up my weight loss efforts as a compulsive /emotional overeater I am hoping if the food binges stop then the trig. will go down as there wont be any over excess food in my system. margo

LOL I hear ya on that one.
I cleverly disguise my oatmeal with lots of cinnamon, Splenda, slices of apples and raisins, or other dried fruits (cranberries are really nice). I nuke the fruit along with the oatmeal so it gets nice and soft and juicy. Alternatively, if you can get a low sugar maple syrup, I recommend a little swirl of that on top. I’ve also had oatmeal with a dollop of yogurt on top (plain yogurt with a few drops of vanilla and a bit of sweetener), which sounds kind of disgusting but really tastes quite nice. Cheers, Petal
