My daughter, Stephanie, tells me they have lost yet another kitty to heart disease. Not too long ago, their Violet succumbed to the same illness; now this on top of her loss is almost too painful. Tortie died yesterday and is buried next to Violet, who was Tortie’s dearest kitty friend. I’d appreciate a few purrs for Tortie’s journey. Thank you. Jeanne

I know how much it hurts. Both my rescued ferals were/have been sick for a long time. I lost one, and the other is losing the long battle. He was a valient fighter though, and I love him always. Please extend my sympathies to Stephanie. Dee

My heart goes out to you. This is so sad. I don’t know which is worse…the unexpected death like Tortie’s or knowing it’s coming and waiting it out. Either way it’s so difficult and we send our purrs and prayers for you and your little fighter. Give him a gentle hug for me. Jeanne
